Kristen Kolar is thrilled to be part of the Estrela team as the “first stop” for all families interested in learning more about our services! She is an accomplished professional with a passion for education and a commitment to lifelong learning. With years of client experience at one of the largest retailers in the world, Kristen has honed exceptional communication skills and a creative, self-motivated approach to work. Kristen has previously worked in the college recruiting field leading recruiting efforts for Macy’s Systems and Technology. She was responsible for hiring interns and recent college graduates, as well as designing and executing their training and development plans.

Kristen holds a Master of Arts Degree in Comparative Literature from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Miami University. Kristen also spent time teaching business English to employees and top executives in Santiago, Chile.

Outside of the professional arena. Kristen is a board member of the Hudson Community Chorus, where she is also a chorus member. She co-chaired the Hudson High School Parent Drama Board for three years, leading volunteer parents to deliver six productions, including two Dazzle-award winners for Best Musical and two Double-Superior ranked plays in Ohio. Kristen is currently a small group leader in her church where she previously taught for 9 years as part of a family program for students in elementary school.

Kristen and her husband Mark have a daughter, a son and one rambunctious dog. They live in Northeast Ohio.
