Brittany Jackson joined Estrela Consulting as an ACT Tutor at the beginning of 2016. In addition to her work at Estrela, she currently serves as the Assistant Director of Strategic Academic Initiatives and Study Away Coordinator at Hiram College. She oversees the College Credit Plus and Study Away programs. Brittany returned to Hiram College in October 2008 having worked in computer services departments at both Case Western Reserve University and Ursuline College. Prior to working in computer services, she worked in the Alumni Relations office at Hiram College.
She graduated from Hiram College in 2004 with a Bachelor’s in Theatre and Communication and received her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Hiram College in 2015. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership Studies at Ashland University.
Brittany is a founding board member for the Center for Applied Drama and Autism in Akron, as well as the Newsletter Coordinator for the Global Leadership League. She is also a member of NAFSA.
She has a love for travelling and has travelled to India and Barcelona, Spain, Quebec City and Vancouver in Canada, as well as to many points within the United States. She loves to read fiction, specifically historical romance or YA novels in her spare time. If she had any time left over, she would be working with and performing in community theatre.
